The application for MEXT scholarship 2026 is now open.

The Government of Japan offers four (4) scholarships to Palauans on a yearly basis in the following areas: (1) Specialized Training College, (2) Undergraduate, (3) Research Program, and (4) National Institute of Technology Program.

These scholarships cover expenses including tuition and school fees, living allowances, and travel expenses to Japan.  The scholarship program became available to Palau in 1982 and to date. The scholarship programs are part of the Government of Japan’s continuing effort to assist Palau’s developing human resources.
