6th Japan Fair to Introduce the Art of Kimono and Tea Ceremony

The Embassy of Japan in Palau is excited to host the 2016 Japan Fair featuring two of Japan’s most popular traditional and cultural practices: the Art of Kimono dressing and the Art of Tea Ceremony. Furthermore, guests will also be treated to many other equally exciting activities and fascinating performances that promises a more entertaining experience.
This year, a special group of experts from Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture in Japan will demonstrate the art of Kimono dressing and tea ceremony. This presents a unique opportunity for guests to experience Japanese culture firsthand.
Join us for a wonderful afternoon of cultural exchange and learning at the Ngarachamayong Cultural Center on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm (Registration opens at 1:00 pm).
The program is open and free to the general public.
