Talk Show by Manga Artist of "Peleliu – Guernica of Paradise"

On July 7th, a talk show featuring Mr. Kazuyoshi Takeda, the manga artist behind "Peleliu – Guernica of Paradise," was held at the Palasia Hotel in Palau.
President Whipps joined the event and delivered a heartfelt speech. Chargé d'Affaires Ono and Embassy staff also attended the event, enjoying meaningful exchanges with Mr. Takeda and the participants.
This manga depicts the fierce battle of Peleliu Island during World War II, serving as a powerful reminder of the deep historical bonds between Japan and Palau.
