Alumni Reunion 2026

On March 20, 2026, Alumni Reunion was held at the Ambassador's Residence. 12 MEXT Alumni students, 3 JENESYS and APIC alumni, Ambassador Kasahara, and embassy staff attended.
 
This year, we extended invitations to younger individuals as well. The former JENESYS and APIC alumni shared their experiences during their stay in Japan, fostering deeper interaction among the participants. Notably, incorporating the perspectives of the younger generation, lively discussions were held regarding the future of Japanese language and culture activities among Palauan people, especially young generations.
 
Additionally, as a report on last year's activities, President Carlisa Ngedebuu shared her experiences introducing Palau at the Palau booth during the Osaka Expo.
