On March 12, 2026, Charge d'Affaires ad interim, Mr. ONO Shunsuke, received a courtesy call from Mamadou Kane, the United Nations Resident Coordinator based in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and accredits five Micronesian countries including Palau.
