First Japan-Palau Student Exchange Program Alumni

On September 4, 2025, Japan Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. ONO Shunsuke met with Mr. Clarence Masayos, an alumni of the first group of exchange students from Palau to Japan in 1976. Mr. Masayos shared about his experience in Japan and the places he visited in Tokyo and was hoping to reconnect with a Japanese friend he met during the exchange program.

Since 1976, there has been various short-term people to people exchange programs provided through the Embassy of Japan such as APIC, Jenesys, Japanese Language program and others.
