Ambassador ORIKASA hosted a meeting with Japan Volunteer Nurses to Discuss Enhancing Japan-Palau Bilateral Relations in Healthcare

On July 2nd, Ambassador Orikasa hosted a meeting between Japanese volunteer nurses, the Honorable Mr. Raynold Oilouch, Vice President of Palau and Minister of Health and Human Services, and Professor TSURUTA Kurumi, Vice President of Shunan University in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Also in attendance were senior officials from the Ministry of Health and Human Services (MHHS) and the Taiwan Technical Mission.

During the meeting, they discussed the volunteer nurses' involvement in supporting medical teams during the Pacific Mini Games, as well as future opportunities for enhancing Japan-Palau bilateral relations in healthcare.
