President of Shunan University’s Visit

On 3 March 2025, Professor TAKATA Takashi, President of Shunan University in Yamaguchi Prefecture, visited the Embassy. Professor OGATA Satoshi, a dedicated advocate of healthy eating habits, accompanied the President, along with the Vice President, Professor TSURUTA Kurumi, and others. Professor OGATA has contributed to the improvement of public school lunches in Palau.

The team discussed how they could use their expertise in sport and health science to help Palau tackle the problem of non-communicable diseases.
