Japan’s Traditional “Hina” Dolls on Display
2025/3/3

Japan’s traditional “Hina” dolls are on display at the Embassy of Japan in celebration of “Hina Matsuri” (Girls’ Festival) on March 3rd. The display is open to the public to view at the Embassy until March 14, Monday-Friday, 9am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm.
Every year before March 3, a parent(s) will prepare the multi-tier doll set with their daughter(s). The doll exhibit represents the Emperor and the Empress, attendants and musicians wearing traditional court dresses of the Heian Period (794-1185).
