Ambassador Attends Urasoe-Airai Inter-City Collaboration Workshop/Seminar

On January 25, 2024, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki attended the workshop/seminar between Urasoe City in Okinawa Prefecture and Airai State Government. The initiative is a part of City-to-City Collaboration between Airai State and Urasoe City in Okinawa, funded by the Ministry of Environment of Japan. This project aims to develop a sustainable, environmentally friendly city through intercity cooperation, and the participants have discussed possible collaboration in the areas of renewable energy, reducing energy consumption, and the waste treatment.
