Pacific Partnership 2024

Members of the Japan Self Defense Forces participated in the US-led Pacific Partnership 2024 in Palau from December 22 till December 30, 2023. They conducted joint medical care with the US, Australia and the UK, offering free treatment and surgeries as well as training for local medical personnel. JSDF musicians with their American and Australian counterparts were given a big round of applause from the cheering crowd in various locations for their joint performances.
 
Through the participation in PP24, JSDF members further deepened the cooperative relations with the US, Australia, the UK and Palau enhancing mutual understanding.
 
With a vision to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific, Japan will continue to contribute to the region's stability and prosperity.
