Japan Club of Palau submits a Petition

On August 21, 2023, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki received a petition from Ms. NAKAGAWA Emesiochel Kyoko, President of Japan Club of Palau, representing the Japanese community in Palau. The petition calls for the early resumption of direct and regular flights between Japan and Palau.

On August 25, at the lunch meeting between the Japan-Palau Parliamentary Friendship League and Japan Club of Palau, Ms. Nakagawa Emesiochel informed the members of the Japan-Palau Parliamentary Friendship League, who are Japan’s Diet members, of the petition as well as the Club’s activities in Palau.
