JENESYS Program Successfully Concludes

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, three Palau Community College (PCC) students gave their presentations at the Embassy of Japan about their visit to Japan. They had just come back from their January trip on the short-term invitation program JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths), launched by the Government of Japan in 2015.

Mr. Bryce Bonicacio, who was in the group of Disaster Prevention and Reconstruction, highlighted his learning experience in Wakayama prefecture and underscored the importance of his action plans going forward. Mr. Remeliik Olmou discussed his visit to Kochi prefecture with his group of Tourism and Japanese Culture and showed his interests in promoting his experience through SNS and other platforms. Lastly, Ms. Benhart Ungiil, explained not only what she learned in Okinawa prefecture with her group of Marine Resources but also emphasized the importance of the next steps that younger generations should take to protect marine resources.
