On 5 January 2023, Ambassador Orikasa welcomed a visit of Coast Guard Advisor Lt. Cdr. KINOSHITA Manabu, who is dispatched from Japan Coast Guard under support of The Nippon Foundation. They exchanged views on the current maritime security issues of Palau.
