The Director of the Bureau of Education Administration and the Principal of Angaur Elementary School Visit the Embassy

On October 28, 2026, Mr. Raynold Mechol, Director of the Bureau of Education Administration at the Ministry of Education of Palau, and Ms. Tiffany Kasiano, Principal of Angaur Elementary School, visited Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi to provide an update on the “Angaur Gallery” project.
 
The “Angaur Gallery” is housed in an exhibition space created as part of the school’s renovation under the FY2024 Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP), “The Project for the Renovation of Angaur Elementary School Building.” The display of the gallery was a collaborative effort between Angaur Elementary School, Ministry of Education, and the Embassy. It features artifacts from World War II and other eras to showcase Angaur’ s historical landscape and culture.
 
The gallery is expected to help preserve and pass down local heritage to future generations, while providing visitors with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the island’s rich history and traditional culture.
