Fukuoka Prefectural Sports Policy Bureau Visits the Embassy

On October 27, 2026, Counsellor MARUO Katsumasa, on behalf of Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi, received a visit by Mr. YOSHIJIMA Tetsuya, Senior Project Manager of the Sports Planning Division, Sports Policy Bureau, Fukuoka Prefectural Government, and discussed the sports exchanges between Fukuoka Prefecture and Oceania National Olympic Committee based on the MOU signed in March 2026. Under this MOU, Fukuoka Prefecture plans to launch a new sports education and exchange program in the Summer of 2027.
