2026 Japan-Palau Commemorative Stamp Design Announcement

At the 32nd Palau Independence Day ceremony on October 1, 2026, President Surangel Whipps Jr. announced the design for a commemorative stamp issued to strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Palau.
The commemorative stamps feature scenes from the manga "Peleliu: Guernica of Paradise," which was adapted into an animated film last December.
