On May 27, 2026, Mr. SUZUKI Takaaki, Director of the Overseas Fisheries Cooperation Office, International Affairs Division, Fisheries Agency of Japan, met with Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi. Mr. SUZUKI, who was visiting Palau to attend the Blue Economy Panel at the Development Symposium 2026 on May 28, and the Ambassador discussed fisheries cooperation in Palau.
