Visit of Aichi Electric Co., Ltd to the Embassy

On June 9, 2026, Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi met with Mr.KAKIHARA Masaki, President of the Electric Power Company/ Board Director, Managing Executive Officer of the Aichi Electric Co., Ltd and Mr. OOTA Munenori, Group Manager of Overseas Sales Group.

With close collaboration with the Palau Public Utilities Corpoation (PPUC,) Aichi Electric Co., Ltd successfully completed the ‘Project for the Development of Power Transmission Network’ in January 2026 under Japanese ODA. Ambassador KASAHARA and the delegation exchanged views on strengthening Japan-Palau bilateral cooperation in the electricity sector through continued technical assistance.
