Ikebana workshop with Palau High School students

  

On May 8, 2026, in coordination with the Bureau of Agriculture, the Embassy of Japan staff and JOCV Ms. NIHEI Atsuko conducted a Ikebana `Art of Flower Arrangement` workshop for Palau High School agriculture students at the beach in Choll, Ngaraard State.
 
Ms. Nihei did a demonstration on how to make a flower arrangement before the students began to create their own flower bouquet for Mother`s Day using local plants and a bamboo as a vase.
