Follow-up (11 years after the project completion)

2026/5/8

On May 1, 2026, the Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Coordinator of the Embassy of Japan visited Mindszenty high school (MHS) and met with Ms. Yorang Miner, MHS Vice Principal, and Ms. Ellise Marielle, a science teacher. The visit was conducted as part of follow-up to “The Project for Upgrading Science Laboratory for Mindszenty High School.”

The science laboratory and experimental equipment provided through this project continue to be actively utilized in daily science classes, offering valuable opportunities for approximately 130 students to learn science through hands-on observation and experimentation.

Ms. Mariel expressed her appreciation, stating, “At the school where I previously worked had limited, facilities and few opportunities to conduct experiments. However, thanks to this GGP project, students at this school are able to study in a well-equipped environment and learn through hands-on experiments. These experiences help deepen their interest in and understanding of science.”

The Embassy of Japan looks forward to these facilities continuing to benefit many students and teachers in the years to come, contributing to the further enhancement of science education at the school.
