Four outgoing JICA Volunteers meet with the Ambassador

On April 14, 2026, four outgoing JICA volunteers, who have completed their assignment periods in Palau visited the Embassy.

Mr. NOGUCHI Yoshio completed his second term in Palau at the Bureau of Public Works, where he contributed to strengthening maintenance capacity. Mr. KOBAYASHI Kunihiro was a physiotherapist assigned to Belau National Hospital, where he worked with approximately 200 patients in two years. Ms. KOMATSU Haruna, a physical activity volunteer assigned to the Non-Communicable Disease Unit, facilitated many sports activities. Ms. NAITO Sayaka conducted research on taro varieties resistant to saline environments as well as on coconut beetles.
