Ambassador Attends the Completion Ceremony of a Joint Crediting Mechanism Project

On February 27, 2026, Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi attended the completion ceremony for the “Introduction of 0.6MW Solar Power and 0.3MWh Storage Battery to Resort Hotel” project, a Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) initiative. The project was implemented by SeED Okinawa LLC in cooperation with TOKYU LAND CORPORATION and Pacific Islands Development Corporation. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by replacing part of the electricity generated by diesel engines with renewable energy.
