Japan Ministry of Finance’s International Cooperation Division Team Visits the Embassy

On February 26, 2026, a team led by Ms TSUDA Yuko, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Division, Customs and Tariff Bureau of the Ministry of Finance, Japan, met with Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi.
 
Ms. TSUDA and her team visited Palau to conduct a four-day workshop on Risk Management for officials of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection. Leveraging the expertise of Japan Customs, the workshop addressed several topics, including x-ray image analytics, which supports the Embassy’s grant aid project that supplied new x-ray systems.
