On February 20, 2026, Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi met with five members of the National Association of Processed Food Industry Cooperatives Hokkaido. The group visited Palau with the opportunity to visit mariculture and food processing facilities, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment’s Palau Mariculture Demonstration Center (PMDC) in Malakal.
