Yosakoi Dancers Visit Palau for the 2nd Time

On February 19th & 20th. the Yosakoi group led by Ms. SENTANI Chisato, Representative Director of The Dream Yosacoy Festival, visited Palau High School, Maris Stella School, and Koror Elementary School to teach students about Yosakoi, a Japanese dance that originated in Kochi Prefecture.
Before the event began, Ambassador KASAHARA delivered his opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and the strengthening of friendship between Japan and Palau.
Afterwards, Mr. ITOKAWA Kenya gave a presentation to the students about the history of Yosakoi, and the students then learned and practiced various Yosakoi dances with Ms. SENTANI Chisato.
