On February 16, 2026, Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi met with Mr. Masatomo Yamaguchi, Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer, from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and held discussions on enhancing maritime law enforcement capabilities in Palau.
