On February 5, 2026, Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi met with Ms. WAKIYA Kayoko, Deputy Director of the Division of the Asia-Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO and Mr. McMichael Mutok Jr., Registrar & Historic Preservation Specialist from the Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, to exchange views on cooperation in cultural heritage conservation in Palau.
