Meteorological Agency’s Oceanographic Research Vessel Captain Visits Ambassador Kasahara

On February 5 2026, Mr. NAGAKITA Kiyokazu, Captain of the Research Vessel Keifu-maru, visited Ambassador KASAHARA Kenichi, accompanied by Mr. NAGAI Naoki, Purser, and Mr. KAKUYA Keita, Chief Scientist. Keifu-maru Vessel conducted the 60th winter observation along the 137°E meridian across the western North Pacific since its first survey in 1967.
