Opening Ceremony of Luuk Nature Center

On December 12, 2025, our Embassy staff attended the opening ceremony of Luuk Nature Center of Palau Pacific Resort.
 
As one of the very first Japanese-affiliated enterprises in Palau, PPR has played a pivotal role in the development of Palau's tourism industry, with its operations dating back to even before Palau's independence in 1994. As the longest-running Japanese business operation in Palau, PPR has continuously maintained its presence for over four decades, balancing the conservation of Palau's beautiful natural environment with responsible development. It stands as an enduring testament to the strong friendship and cooperation between Japan and Palau.
