President Surangel S. Whipps Jr.’s Visit with Ambassador Orikasa

On December 8, 2025, President Surangel S. Whipps Jr. and U.S. Ambassador to Palau Joel Ehrendreich visited Ambassador Orikasa. After receiving an explanation regarding the donation of Japanese- and U.S.-related artifacts to the Peleliu War Museum from Mr. Miver Umedip, the donor of the artifacts, they attended a luncheon with bereaved family members visiting from Japan. They also interacted with the grandchildren of the war dead and heard valuable accounts of the circumstances at that time.
