4 Palauan’s attendance to “Peace Story Telling Project” organized by Japan War Bereaved Family Association

4 Palauan people were invited to Japan by Japan War Bereaved Family Association to participate in the events of “Peace Story Telling Project” between 18^th and 20^th October, 2025.  The delegation consists of the following 4 people;

Governor Natus Misech – Angaur State Government
McMichael Mutok Jr. – Bureau of Culture and Historic Preservation
Maylene Gorong – Ministry of State
Margie Blelai – Peleliu State Government
 
The delegation was the first international guest speakers for the project.  They had opportunities to meet and talk with Japanese elderly people who experienced WW2 and also young Japanese people who are keen to learn about the history of the war.  They visited Tokyo first and then moved to Shizuoka Prefecture (Gotemba and Hamamatsu city).
