JMAS Director visits the Embassy

On November 17, 2025, Mr. SUETSUGU Tomio, Director of the Japan Mine Action Service (JMAS) and Mr SHIMADA Masato, JMAS Palau Chief Representative, met with Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki.
 
Director Suetsugu, who is visiting Palau from November 15 to 20, plans to meet with H. E. President Whipps, Hon. Aitaro, Minister of State, Hon. Obichang, Minister of Public Infrastructure and Industry, Hon. Rudimch, Governor of Koror State, and other relevant parties, including Norwegian People’s Aid, to discuss the future activities of underwater explosive ordnance disposal in Palau.
