From October 26 to 29, H.E. Surangel S. WHIPPS Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, visited Japan for tourism promotion coinciding with the launch of scheduled direct flights between Narita and Palau inaugurating on 29 October.

The Inaugural Flight Ceremony by United Airlines
On October 29, President Whipps attended the inaugural flight ceremony for the Narita-Palau scheduled direct flight hosted by United Airlines.
