SPOGOMI World Cup Qualifiers Visit the Embassy

On October 14th, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki met with the group of “SPOGOMI” coordinators led by JICA volunteer Mr. TSUCHIKAWA Yusuke and the winners of the Spogomi World Cup Qualifier in Palau, Team “Trash Titans,” to discuss their upcoming participation in the international championship in Shibuya, Tokyo this month.

"SPOGOMI": The "SPOGOMI" World Competition sponsored by the Japan Foundation is held as part of marine litter reduction activities and is held once every two years.
