Ambassador attends the Opening Ceremony for the Independence Day

On October 1st, 2025, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki attended the opening ceremony for celebrating the 31st anniversary of Palau’s independence held at Melekeok. During the ceremony, Mr. KOSHIBA Storm, a local staff member of the Japan Embassy, read a congratulatory message from H.E. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan.
