Peace Education Initiative Team from Okinawa Visits the Embassy

On September 9, 2025, a team consisting of peace education experts, the Okinawa Prefectural Government, JICA Okinawa, and JICA Palau met with the Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. ONO Shunsuke.

Based on the MOU between Palau and Okinawa Prefecture signed in 2022, the team is visiting Palau to improve the understanding of peace education in Palau and to  plan a future project that aims to enhance and deepen the relationship between the two countries.
