Ambassador Orikasa Meets with Representatives from TEPCO and Takaoka Toko

On July 18, 2025, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and Takaoka Toko Co. representative met with Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki to discuss the progress on the cooperation in the energy sector.
 
In August 2024, TEPCO signed a Framework Agreement with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Industries, and Palau Public Utilities Company. Based on this agreement, a Secondment Agreement was signed in November, and Mr. YASHIRO Shigeaki, an energy sector expert, was dispatched to implement technical cooperation and support the Palau Government’s goal of achieving 100% renewable energy by 2032.
