Ambassador ORIKASA attends the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Pacific Mini Games

On July 10th, Ambassador ORIKASA attended the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Pacific Mini Games. More than 2,000 athletes and officials from 23 countries participated in this year’s Games which marked the largest event since its inception.
With several major sporting events scheduled to take place in Oceania, Japan's contribution to the region's sports sector has been steadily increasing in significance.
  • Nauru will host the Micronesian Games in 2026,
  • Tahiti prepares for the Pacific Games in 2027,
  • Cook Islands will welcome nations for the 2029 Pacific Mini Games,
  • and lastly, Tonga be the host of the 2031 Pacific Min Games.
