On April 21, 2025, Mr. CHOTOKU Hideaki, Deputy Director General, International Cooperation Bureau of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Surangel Whipps Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, during his visit to Palau, and discussed cooperation between Japan and Palau.
