Two JICA Volunteers Assigned to Elementary Schools Leave Palau

On March 13, 2025, Ms. SAKAKI Niina and Mr. KARIKURA Satoshi, assigned to Aimeliik and Ngardmau Primary School respectively, met with Mr. ONO Shunsuke, Charge d'Affaires ad interim.

The two volunteers, who started their assignment in July 2023, shared their experiences of life in Palau and their work with the people of Palau, who welcomed and supported them during their stay.

The two volunteers will return to Japan, but will continue to act as a bridge between Palau and Japan.
