Japanese Development Consultants Visits the Embassy

On February 21, 2025, two consultants from a Japanese development consulting company IC-Net Mr. NAKAZAWA Toshiyuki and Ms. FUJITA Aya met with Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki, and discussed how the meat processing facility in Ngchesar could be further utilized to contribute to the development of Palau’s livestock sector.
The two consultants are facilitating the livestock processing technology training held at the Ngchesar facility from February 24 to 28. The training is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and Forestry under the 2021 MOU on Agriculture between Palau and Japan.
