Japanese-Partnered Hotel’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

The Embassy of Japan was honored to attend the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) on the evening of February 12, 2025.

As one of the very first Japanese-partnered businesses in Palau, PPR has played an important role in shaping the country’s best hospitality experience. Over the past four decades, it has not only remained the longest-surviving Japanese-affiliated business but also a testament to enduring friendship and collaboration between Japan and Palau.

The anniversary reception was a truly memorable and festive event, bringing together esteemed guests and partners, including Vice President Raynold Oilouch, to celebrate PPR’s remarkable journey. The special remarks were given by Mr. Shallum Etpison, Vice President of the Pacific Islands Development Corporation and Mr. HOSHINO Hiroaki, President of Tokyu Land Corporation.
