Mie Prefectural Fisheries High School Training Ship SHIROCHIDORI Captain’s Visit

On February 14, 2025, Mr. TANIMIZU Takayuki, Mie Prefectural Fisheries High School Training Ship SHIROCHIDORI Captain met with Mr. ONO Shunsuke, Charge d'Affaires ad interim.
 
The Mie port-registered training ship SHIROCHIDORI arrived at the Malakal Port on February 13. During the port call from March 13 to 18, students from Mie Fisheries High School interacted with students from their sister school, Palau High School, and learnt about each other’s cultures.
 
Since the sister school partnership with Palau High School in 1997, the Mie Fisheries High School's training ship has been calling at Palau, and this year's visit was the first since the last visit in 2020.
