JICA’s Coastal Management Project Experts Visit the Embassy

On February 7, 2025, Mr. KIMURA Tadashi, and Ms. FUJII Kanako, experts of the Project for Enhancement of Integrated Management of Coastal Ecosystems in Palau for Strengthening their Resilience to Climate Change, which will end on February 10, visited the Embassy with Ms. HIRATA Sayuri, JICA’s new Project Formulation Advisor.

 

The technical cooperation programme, which started in 2022, included the establishment of a monitoring system for mangrove ecosystems and sediment run-off and deposition, as well as awareness-raising activities.
