Ambassador Attends the PICRC-JICA Project Joint Coordination Committee

On January 9, 2025, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki attended the final Joint Coordination Committee of PICRC (the Palau International Coral Reef Center)-JICA Project for Enhancement of Integrated Management of Coastal Ecosystems in Palau for Strengthening their Resilience to Climate Change held in Koror.
 
The last Joint Coordination Committee of the three-year project which started in February 2022, reviewed the progress of the project, including the establishment of an integrated coastal ecosystem management system, the development of a mangrove monitoring and management mechanism, and the raising of public awareness on the issue.
