On October 31, 2024, the Japan Mine Action Service (JMAS) Chairman KISHIKAWA Kimihiko and Auditor YAMAUCHI Daisuke visited Palau and paid a courtesy call to President Whipps. On October 29, they exchanged views with Minister of State Gustav Aitaro and Koror State Governor Eyos Rudimch regarding activities in 2025.
