Peleliu World War II Museum Renovation Project – Opening Ceremony

On September 15, 2024, the opening ceremony for the renovated Peleliu World War II Museum was held. In addition to the attendance of Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki and Major General TARUMI Tatsuo, the ceremony was attended by dignitaries including President Surangel Whipps Jr., Peleliu State Governor Emais Roberts, US Ambassador Joel Ehrendreich, Australian Ambassador Richelle Turner, and Major General Daniel Shipley, Deputy Commander of the US Marine Corps Forces Pacific.
