Ambassador Meets RDML Kawagoe, Deputy Director-General of Japan Coast Guard

On September 4, 2024, Ambassador ORIKASA Hiroyuki met with RDML KAWAGOE Koichi, Deputy Director-General, Administration Department and Mr. TSUKAMOTO Masafumi of the Japan Coast Guard. RDML Kawagoe and Mr. Tsukamoto were in Palau to participate as lecturers in the Marine Domain Awareness (MDA) training organized by UNODC. The training was conducted as a part of the Project for Capacity Strengthening for Maritime Law Enforcement Agencies of the Pacific Island Countries to Efficiently Counter Maritime Crime, funded by the Government of Japan.
