Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project - Update “The Project for Dry Litter Piggery Technology Introduction in Melekeok State”

In February 2019, Melekeok State has procured a wood chipper and compact truck under Japan’s Grant assistance for Grassroots human Security Project (GGP). The wood chips are not only distributed to pig farmers for their piggery operations, but also used to mix with pig waste to make compost to be used at local farms and Ngardok Nature Reserve.
